Soaking in Hot Water, Cipanas
Monday, January 16, 2017Hi ...
This is the day when I write again, hohoho ... Like, I finally have the right time posting new post in here aaaaandd that day is Monday and Thursday, yeaaay!! No one excited except I am and this post is gonna, yes, where I go.
So, guys, my beloved readers, I went to Cipanas two days ago, Saturday to be exact, because two of my friends suddenly asked in Line Group, out of the blue, "Guys, are you free this Saturday? We're planning to go to onsen (onsen, because we're JCF, Japanese Culture Freak, but not weeabo, ck) the real onsen in Garut."
"..."
Well, if you don't know, Garut is in another town like an hour and a half drive from Bandung. So, literally we're going there, an hour and half drive for one way trip, spend one or two hours soaking in hot water, and going back for another an hour and half drive, who wants to do that?!
I am ...
Calm down, guys ... there wouldn't be this post if I didn't go, right? HA! So, a day before we're rent a car and the driver as well, yeah you know there's six of us. Oh, and I forgot to introduce my friends this time. Two people who asked the rest are Nurul and Fajar (they're dating though ...), Gaia (well, yea, this person is a guy), my friend from outer, outer space, Flores, Rino and his brother Toni. More people in the car, it's cheaper (fresh graduate and student lyfe). Seven people in a car! (including the driver)
Here's the team, (left-right) Nurul, Fajar, Gaia, Toni, Rino, where am I? The one who taking this blurry, weird, pixalated photo |
We decided to do a night bath(?) swim(?) I don't know, so we're planning to leave at 3.00pm in our meet up place, my former collage. But, I decided to go to Nurul's house first, it's closer to my house then go to my former collage. So, in the morning, I told my grandma to teach me how to use sewing machine, because you know, just academic skill is not enough.
The driver who drove us is quite scary by the way. Wearing all black clothes and the way he drive is just terrifiying ... I'm sorry, but that's the fact. I sat at the very back of the car with Rino (our hobby is gossiping someone though ... Nah, just kidding), so it shake so hard (did I write it right?)
Oh, I haven't tell you the place we're going! It's this place called Tirtagangga. They have a hot water swimming pool and very hot water soaking pool. You just have to pay Rp 30.000 or like $3 to swim here (the hotel is in different price though, just check it here) for up to you. Morning, day, or night swim it's up to you.
We got there at 6pm or so. The hard part in this place are parking spot and table to put our bags. They have locker but it's small. If you want to go here, just don't do it in the weekend, it's awfully crowded.
I can't really take a picture here, because you know, the result are not very good. I am using my phone camera, I don't own a dslr camera, I still don't have the money, yet so my phone camera is just my best.
We're heating up in this pool first and cooling down in this pool too. People don't really swimming here, because they come here to soak, not swim in two meters deep hot pool right? I don't really remember what we were doing here, the thing I can remember is we're quite chatty in this pool. We just standing in the edge of the pool, though ...
So, we move on to this pool which is really hot at first. Competing how long are we gonna dipping here, doing meditation ... (that's weird) but this is relaxing.
This place is located in Cipanas, Garut, famous for its hot spring. The hot spring is different from the one that in Lembang (OMG, I should tell you about hot spring in Lembang that I went there last year), this one has lower sulfur content so when you put your face in the water, your eyes will not hurt, Lembang has high sulfur content though ...
We later done our dip at 9pm and we are really hungry but sadly, most of restaurant are closed at 9pm ... so we just bought some batagor and seek for street food that open in the night. This is sad ahahaha ...
And finally I got home at 1am in the morning ...
Relaxing though ... Thanks for reading guys, hope you enjoy it ...
Bye ...
Ps : I try to use schedule this time, is it up yet?
